ภาพบรรยากาศโครงการบรรยายพิเศษ เรื่อง HILS
วันที่ 2 มีนาคม 2569 คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ (KMUTNB) โดย ภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศ มีความยินดีอย่างยิ่งที่ได้ต้อนรับ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. คังบิน ยิม จาก Soonchunhyang (SCH) University สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ในโอกาสร่วมบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “HILS-Based Approach to Dynamic Verification and Validation of Distributed Collaborative Embedded Software”
ก่อนเริ่มการบรรยาย ท่านได้เข้าพบและหารือกับผู้บริหารคณะ ได้แก่ คณบดี รองคณบดี และผู้ช่วยคณบดี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ ร่วมกับหัวหน้าภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศ และคณาจารย์ เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองทางวิชาการและแนวทางความร่วมมือเชิงรูปธรรมในอนาคต
ระหว่างการบรรยาย ได้รับความสนใจอย่างดีเยี่ยมจากผู้เข้าร่วม มากกว่า 100 คน ทั้งนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีและบัณฑิตศึกษา สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความตื่นตัวของนักศึกษาไทยต่อหัวข้อด้าน Embedded Systems, Verification and Validation และแนวทาง HILS ที่สามารถต่อยอดสู่การวิจัยและการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมได้จริง
ภายหลังการบรรยาย ภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศได้ร่วมพูดคุยกับท่านเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับ โอกาสความร่วมมือด้านสหกิจศึกษา (Cooperative Education) และแนวทางการผลักดัน หลักสูตร Dual Degree ได้แก่ หลักสูตร 4 ปี 2 ปริญญา ในระดับปริญญาตรี (KMUTNB + SCH) รวมถึง ประมาณ 6.5 ปี สำหรับเส้นทาง ปริญญาตรี (KMUTNB) ต่อเนื่องบัณฑิตศึกษา (SCH)
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ถือเป็น จุดเริ่มต้นที่จับต้องได้ ในการขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือระหว่าง KMUTNB และ SCH ให้กลับมามีความคึกคักอีกครั้ง ภายใต้ MOU ที่กำลังมีผลบังคับใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบัน และพร้อมต่อยอดสู่โครงการร่วมที่ชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้นในระยะถัดไป

It was a great honour for the Department of Computer and Information Science, Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), to host Professor Dr. Kangbin Yim from Soonchunhyang (SCH) University, Republic of Korea, for a special lecture entitled: “HILS-Based Approach to Dynamic Verification and Validation of Distributed Collaborative Embedded Software.”
Before the lecture, Professor Yim held a discussion with the Dean, Associate Dean, and the management team of the Faculty of Applied Science along with the Head of the Department of Computer and Information Science, exchanging academic perspectives and exploring tangible collaboration opportunities.
The lecture attracted over 100 participants, including both undergraduate and graduate students, demonstrating strong interest in embedded systems, verification and validation, and HILS-based approaches with practical research and industry impact.
After the session, the Department of Computer and Information Science further discussed potential collaboration on cooperative education and the possibility of establishing dual-degree programmes, including a 4-year dual bachelor’s pathway and an approximately 6.5-year KMUTNB undergraduate to SCH graduate pathway.
This event marks a meaningful and tangible step forward in strengthening the Thailand (KMUTNB) and Korea (SCH) partnership under the currently active MOU.
