อาจารย์ CIS มจพ เดินทางนิเทศนักศึกษาปฏิบัติ CWIE ณ ไต้หวัน KMUTNB CIS Faculty Member Conducts CWIE Supervision Visit in Taiwan

ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธรรศฏภณ สุระศักดิ์ อาจารย์ประจำภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ ได้เดินทางไปนิเทศนักศึกษาที่อยู่ระหว่างการปฏิบัติสหกิจศึกษาและการศึกษาเชิงบูรณาการกับการทำงาน หรือ CWIE ณ ไต้หวัน ตามการอนุมัติให้เดินทางไปราชการต่างประเทศจากมหาวิทยาลัย
การนิเทศในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อติดตามความพร้อมและความก้าวหน้าของนักศึกษา ประสานงานกับอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาและทีมพี่เลี้ยงในสถาบันเจ้าภาพ ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางการกำหนดหัวข้อวิจัย การวางแผนการดำเนินงาน และแนวทางการสนับสนุนเพิ่มเติมระหว่างการปฏิบัติ CWIE ของนักศึกษาในไต้หวัน
นักศึกษาที่เดินทางไปปฏิบัติ CWIE ณ มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติจงยาง หรือ National Central University หรือ NCU จำนวน 2 คน ได้แก่ นายนิติธร เจริญฤทธิ์ และนายกฤษกร ขามวิเศษ โดยอยู่ภายใต้การดูแลทางวิชาการของ Prof. Dr. Min-Te Sun ณ Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks Laboratory หรือ WASN@NCU
นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษาอีก 2 คน ได้แก่ นายนิธิกร หีบทอง และนายทองบุรินทร์ ศิริภิวัฒน์ ได้รับการตอบรับให้ไปปฏิบัติ CWIE ณ Digital Health Lab มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติหยางหมิงเจียวธง หรือ National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University หรือ NYCU ภายใต้การดูแลของ Prof. Dr. Yi-Ju Tseng
ในการเดินทางครั้งนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธรรศฏภณ สุระศักดิ์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการของทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมหารือร่วมกับคณาจารย์และทีมพี่เลี้ยงเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการดูแลนักศึกษา การกำหนดขอบเขตงานวิจัย และการพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศกับมหาวิทยาลัยคู่ความร่วมมือในไต้หวัน
ในโอกาสเดียวกัน ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธรรศฏภณ สุระศักดิ์ ได้เข้าพบคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่จาก Office of International Affairs หรือ OIA ของ NCU ได้แก่ Prof. Dr. Hui-Yin Chang ผู้อำนวยการกองความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศและการรับสมัครนักศึกษา และ Novia Chen ผู้จัดการโครงการ พร้อมทั้งเข้าพบคณาจารย์และผู้บริหารของ NCU ได้แก่ Prof. Dr. Men-Tzung Lo ศาสตราจารย์เกียรติคุณ หัวหน้าภาควิชาวิทยาศาสตร์และวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ชีวการแพทย์ และผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพและวิศวกรรมชีวการแพทย์ รวมถึง Prof. Dr. Min-Te Sun หัวหน้าภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และวิศวกรรมสารสนเทศ
การหารือดังกล่าวครอบคลุมแนวทางการต่ออายุบันทึกความเข้าใจ หรือ MOU ระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือและมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งชาติจงยาง ภายหลังจาก MOU ฉบับเดิมซึ่งมีระยะเวลา 3 ปีครบกำหนด โดยมีแนวทางในการต่ออายุความร่วมมือออกไปอีก 5 ปี รวมถึงแนวทางการสร้างความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาหลักสูตร 5 ปี 2 ปริญญา เพื่อส่งเสริมโอกาสทางการศึกษา การวิจัย และการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
การนิเทศนักศึกษาปฏิบัติ CWIE ในต่างประเทศครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริง การพัฒนาทักษะวิชาชีพและการวิจัยในสภาพแวดล้อมนานาชาติ รวมถึงการขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับสถาบันชั้นนำในต่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง
From 1 to 4 May 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Thattapon Surasak, a faculty member of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, conducted an overseas supervision visit for students undertaking their Cooperative and Work Integrated Education, or CWIE, placement in Taiwan. The visit was carried out in accordance with the official approval for overseas duty travel granted by the university.
The supervision visit aimed to monitor the students’ readiness and progress, coordinate with academic advisers and mentoring teams at the host institutions, and discuss research directions, work plans, and additional support required during the students’ CWIE placement in Taiwan.
Two students, Mr. Nitithorn Charoenrit and Mr. Kritsakorn Khamwiset, are undertaking their CWIE placement at National Central University, or NCU, under the academic supervision of Prof. Dr. Min-Te Sun at the Wireless Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks Laboratory, WASN@NCU.
In addition, two other students, Mr. Nithikorn Heepthong and Mr. Thongburin Siriphiwat, have been accepted to undertake their CWIE placement at the Digital Health Lab, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, or NYCU, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yi-Ju Tseng.
During the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Thattapon Surasak visited the laboratories of both universities and held discussions with faculty members and mentoring teams regarding student supervision, research topic development, work scope planning, and possible directions for further academic collaboration between the Department of Computer and Information Sciences and partner universities in Taiwan.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Thattapon Surasak also met with faculty members and staff from the Office of International Affairs, or OIA, of NCU, including Prof. Dr. Hui-Yin Chang, Director of the Division of International Cooperation and Student Recruitment, and Novia Chen, Program Manager. He also met with NCU faculty members and executives, including Prof. Dr. Men-Tzung Lo, Distinguished Professor, Chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, and Director of the Center for Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering, as well as Prof. Dr. Min-Te Sun, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering.
The discussions covered the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, between King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok and National Central University, following the completion of the original three-year term. The proposed renewal aims to continue the partnership for an additional five years. The discussions also included possible collaboration in developing a five-year dual-degree curriculum to promote academic opportunities, research collaboration, and academic exchange between the two universities in a concrete and sustainable manner.
This overseas CWIE supervision visit reflects the department’s commitment to supporting experiential learning, professional development, and research exposure in an international academic environment. It also contributes to strengthening academic collaboration with leading institutions in Taiwan.
