CIS เปิดบ้านใหม่ต้อนรับ KKP กับการบรรยายพิเศษ “Enterprise Software Development in the AI Era”
ภาควิชาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และสารสนเทศ (CIS) คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ประยุกต์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ ให้การต้อนรับ คุณพนิต เวชศิลป์ ผู้ช่วยกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ และ IT Delivery Head ธนาคารเกียรตินาคินภัทร (KKP) ในโอกาสร่วมบรรยายพิเศษหัวข้อ “Enterprise Software Development in the AI Era”
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้น ณ CIS Co-working Space ซึ่งเป็นห้องเรียนและพื้นที่ทำงานร่วมกันของภาควิชาที่เพิ่งได้รับการปรับปรุงใหม่ และนับเป็น กิจกรรมอย่างเป็นทางการครั้งแรกที่จัดขึ้นภายในพื้นที่แห่งใหม่นี้
การบรรยายครั้งนี้เปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้รับฟังประสบการณ์ตรงจากภาคอุตสาหกรรม และอัปเดตมุมมองเกี่ยวกับทิศทางของการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ในองค์กรขนาดใหญ่ โดยเฉพาะในยุคที่เทคโนโลยีปัญญาประดิษฐ์ หรือ AI กำลังเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญต่อกระบวนการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ในแทบทุกขั้นตอน
นักศึกษาได้รับฟังทั้งมุมมองเกี่ยวกับ ทักษะและความสามารถที่ตลาดแรงงานต้องการในปัจจุบัน บทบาทของ AI ที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงรูปแบบการทำงานของนักพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ ตลอดจนแนวทางการออกแบบและพัฒนาระบบแบบ Microservices ภายใต้บริบทของ Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
CIS Opens Its New Space to Welcome KKP for a Special Lecture on “Enterprise Software Development in the AI Era”
The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS), Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, welcomed Mr. Panit Wechasil, Executive Vice President and IT Delivery Head at Kiatnakin Phatra Bank (KKP) for a special lecture entitled “Enterprise Software Development in the AI Era.”
The event was held at the newly renovated CIS Co-working Space and marked the first official activity organized in the new space.
Assistant Professor Dr. Thattapon Surasak, Assistant Head of Department for Cooperative Education and Academic Services, Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS), together with more than 40 undergraduate students, welcomed the guest speaker and participated in the session.
The lecture gave students an opportunity to gain first-hand insights from the industry and update their understanding of how enterprise software development is evolving in the AI era.
Key topics included the skills currently demanded by the technology industry, the growing role of AI in software development, and the design and implementation of Microservices within the context of the Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Students also gained a broader understanding of enterprise system development, where successful software engineering involves much more than programming alone. It requires careful consideration of requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, security, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and long-term system evolution.
The session helped connect classroom learning with real-world challenges, practices, and expectations from the industry, while allowing students to better understand how AI is reshaping the software profession.
The event also represented an important milestone for the newly renovated CIS Co-working Space, which is envisioned as a space for learning, collaboration, knowledge exchange, and stronger engagement between academia and industry.
